BBPPMPV BMTI Visit to Qimtronics
Exploring an upskilling and reskilling collaboration for vocational education in electronics and informatics.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, we received a working visit from representatives of Balai Besar Pengembangan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Vokasi Bidang Mesin dan Teknik Industri (BBPPMPV BMTI). The visit took place at Qimtronics' office located at Jalan Hegarmanah Tengah No. 81, Bandung.
The main purpose of this visit was to review the potential for cooperation between BBPPMPV BMTI and Qimtronics in order to support the upskilling and reskilling program for industry-standard vocational education and education personnel in 2025, especially for the first batch of expertise in electronics and informatics.
BBPPMPV BMTI expressed its interest in getting support from Qimtronics in the form of training from Qimtronics engineers to vocational teachers, who will later share the knowledge and skills with students.
This upskilling and reskilling program is an important initiative to improve the competence and competitiveness of vocational education graduates in Indonesia. By collaborating with creative industry partners such as Qimtronics, it is hoped that vocational students can gain knowledge and skills that are relevant to current industry needs.
Qimtronics engineers would train vocational teachers, who in turn pass on skills to students.
The program targets electronics and informatics expertise aligned with current industry needs.
